History
Jewel Lake takes its name from the family that owned this land for the past hundred years. The land was treasured and cared for by this family in a way that helped preserve its beauty. This land is part of this community. It’s part of what’s beautiful about the past and what’s possible for the future. It has continued untainted by strip malls and fast-food establishments. Nature, with all of its beauty and tranquility, remains the primary occupant of this land and serves as the inspiration that the Reserve is built around. Our goal is to allow our residents to live side-by-side with nature, not drive it away. The trees, lake, wildlife, and all of the natural surroundings are preserved – as is the name of the lovely lady who was raised here and raised her family here.
